Ways to Support

Volunteer
There are many ways that community members can volunteer to help spec events, in the classroom, and many more. All volunteers (including parents) undergo a backround check before being allowed to work with our students. For more information please contact the school at 966-6979.

Gifts-In-Kind
Gifts-In-Kind donations are needed goods and services instead of money. These could be real estate, vehicles, books, bookcases, office supplies, art supplies, computers, furniture, printing services, etc. Donors may avoid the capital gains tax and receive a charitable deduction for the full fair market value of the property.

General Giving
Your gift can be made in check or credit card‚ outright or as multi-year pledges. These gifts are fully deductible up to a maximum of 50% of the donor‚ gross income.

Planned Giving
When you include Pitt Academy in your will or other estate plans you will provide the financial power the organization needs to help a future generation of Pitt Academy students. Planned giving is a gift that allows you to donate via a trust, annuity, insurance policy, or most commonly—a bequest.
