Ready 2 Learn

Ready 2 Learn is the conceptual framework for our school community. It involves more than just curriculum—it defines the entire environment we call Pitt Academy.

Ready 2 Learn is a school-wide behavior management program that incorporates current research in ABA, DIR and Montessori teaching methods. It is a rewards-based behavioral management system tailored to address each child's specific needs and abilities. Ready 2 Learn provides much-needed structure and predictability and is utilized consistently in all areas of school life.

Ready 2 Learn begins at the front door; and serves to motivate and guide each child to be the best student they can be. All faculty and staff are instructed in these methods and expected to practice them consistently—in the classroom, on the playground, on an outing. If the need arises, this methodology is often recommended to parents to incorporate at home.
